121
ﺍَﻟَّﺬِﻳْﻦَ ﺍٰﺗَﻴْﻨٰﻬُﻢُ ﺍﻟْﻜِﺘٰﺐَ ﻳَﺘْﻠُﻮْﻧَﻪٗ ﺣَﻖَّ ﺗِﻠَﺎﻭَﺗِﻪٖۗ
ﺍُﻭﻟٰۤﻯِٕﻚَ ﻳُﺆْﻣِﻨُﻮْﻥَ ﺑِﻪٖ ۗ ﻭَﻣَﻦْ ﻳَّﻜْﻔُﺮْ ﺑِﻪٖ
ﻓَﺎُﻭﻟٰۤﻯِٕﻚَ ﻫُﻢُ ﺍﻟْﺨٰﺴِﺮُﻭْﻥَ
allażīna ātaināhumul-kitāba yatlụnahụ ḥaqqa
tilāwatih, ulā`ika yu`minụna bih, wa may
yakfur bihī fa ulā`ika humul-khāsirụn
Those to whom We have given the Book, they
recite it as it should be, they are the ones who
believe in it. And whoever disbelieves in it, they are
the losers.
122
ﻳٰﺒَﻨِﻲْٓ ﺍِﺳْﺮَﺍۤﺀِﻳْﻞَ ﺍﺫْﻛُﺮُﻭْﺍ ﻧِﻌْﻤَﺘِﻲَ ﺍﻟَّﺘِﻲْٓ ﺍَﻧْﻌَﻤْﺖُ
ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻜُﻢْ ﻭَﺍَﻧِّﻲْ ﻓَﻀَّﻠْﺘُﻜُﻢْ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺍﻟْﻌٰﻠَﻤِﻴْﻦَ
yā banī isrā`īlażkurụ ni'matiyallatī an'amtu
'alaikum wa annī faḍḍaltukum 'alal-'ālamīn
O Children of Israel! Remember My favors which I
have bestowed upon you and I have preferred you
above all other peoples in the world (at that time).
123
ﻭَﺍﺗَّﻘُﻮْﺍ ﻳَﻮْﻣًﺎ ﻟَّﺎ ﺗَﺠْﺰِﻱْ ﻧَﻔْﺲٌ ﻋَﻦْ ﻧَّﻔْﺲٍ
ﺷَﻴْـًٔﺎ ﻭَّﻟَﺎ ﻳُﻘْﺒَﻞُ ﻣِﻨْﻬَﺎ ﻋَﺪْﻝٌ ﻭَّﻟَﺎ ﺗَﻨْﻔَﻌُﻬَﺎ
ﺷَﻔَﺎﻋَﺔٌ ﻭَّﻟَﺎ ﻫُﻢْ ﻳُﻨْﺼَﺮُﻭْﻥَ
wattaqụ yaumal lā tajzī nafsun 'an nafsin
syai`aw wa lā yuqbalu min-hā 'adluw wa lā
tanfa'uhā syafā'atuw wa lā hum yunṣarụn
And be afraid of the day, (when) no one can
replace (defend) another in the slightest, ransom is
not accepted, aid is of no use to him, and they will
not be helped.
124
۞ ﻭَﺍِﺫِ ﺍﺑْﺘَﻠٰٓﻰ ﺍِﺑْﺮٰﻫٖﻢَ ﺭَﺑُّﻪٗ ﺑِﻜَﻠِﻤٰﺖٍ ﻓَﺎَﺗَﻤَّﻬُﻦَّ ۗ
ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﺍِﻧِّﻲْ ﺟَﺎﻋِﻠُﻚَ ﻟِﻠﻨَّﺎﺱِ ﺍِﻣَﺎﻣًﺎ ۗ ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﻭَﻣِﻦْ
ﺫُﺭِّﻳَّﺘِﻲْ ۗ ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﻟَﺎ ﻳَﻨَﺎﻝُ ﻋَﻬْﺪِﻯ ﺍﻟﻈّٰﻠِﻤِﻴْﻦَ
wa iżibtalā ibrāhīma rabbuhụ bikalimātin fa
atammahunn, qāla innī jā'iluka lin-nāsi
imāmā, qāla wa min żurriyyatī, qāla lā yanālu
'ahdiẓ-ẓālimīn
And (remember) when Abraham was tried by his
Lord with words, and he performed them perfectly.
He (Allah) said, "Verily I have made you a leader
for all mankind." He (Ibrahim) said, "And (also)
from my descendants?" Allah said, "(True, but) My
promise does not apply to the wrongdoers."
125
ﻭَﺍِﺫْ ﺟَﻌَﻠْﻨَﺎ ﺍﻟْﺒَﻴْﺖَ ﻣَﺜَﺎﺑَﺔً ﻟِّﻠﻨَّﺎﺱِ ﻭَﺍَﻣْﻨًﺎۗ
ﻭَﺍﺗَّﺨِﺬُﻭْﺍ ﻣِﻦْ ﻣَّﻘَﺎﻡِ ﺍِﺑْﺮٰﻫٖﻢَ ﻣُﺼَﻠًّﻰۗ ﻭَﻋَﻬِﺪْﻧَﺎٓ
ﺍِﻟٰٓﻰ ﺍِﺑْﺮٰﻫٖﻢَ ﻭَﺍِﺳْﻤٰﻌِﻴْﻞَ ﺍَﻥْ ﻃَﻬِّﺮَﺍ ﺑَﻴْﺘِﻲَ
ﻟِﻠﻄَّﺎۤﻯِٕﻔِﻴْﻦَ ﻭَﺍﻟْﻌٰﻜِﻔِﻴْﻦَ ﻭَﺍﻟﺮُّﻛَّﻊِ ﺍﻟﺴُّﺠُﻮْﺩِ
wa iż ja'alnal-baita maṡābatal lin-nāsi wa
amnā, wattakhiżụ mim maqāmi ibrāhīma
muṣallā, wa 'ahidnā ilā ibrāhīma wa ismā'īla
an ṭahhirā baitiya liṭ-ṭā`ifīna wal-'ākifīna war-
rukka'is-sujụd
And (remember) when We made the House
(Ka'bah) a gathering place and a safe place for
people. And make the shrine of Ibrahim a place of
prayer. And We commanded Ibrahim and Ishmael,
"Cleanse My house for those who circumambulate,
those who iktikaf, those who bow and those who
prostrate!"
126
ﻭَﺍِﺫْ ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﺍِﺑْﺮٰﻫٖﻢُ ﺭَﺏِّ ﺍﺟْﻌَﻞْ ﻫٰﺬَﺍ ﺑَﻠَﺪًﺍ ﺍٰﻣِﻨًﺎ
ﻭَّﺍﺭْﺯُﻕْ ﺍَﻫْﻠَﻪٗ ﻣِﻦَ ﺍﻟﺜَّﻤَﺮٰﺕِ ﻣَﻦْ ﺍٰﻣَﻦَ ﻣِﻨْﻬُﻢْ
ﺑِﺎﻟﻠّٰﻪِ ﻭَﺍﻟْﻴَﻮْﻡِ ﺍﻟْﺎٰﺧِﺮِۗ ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﻭَﻣَﻦْ ﻛَﻔَﺮَ ﻓَﺎُﻣَﺘِّﻌُﻪٗ
ﻗَﻠِﻴْﻠًﺎ ﺛُﻢَّ ﺍَﺿْﻄَﺮُّﻩٗٓ ﺍِﻟٰﻰ ﻋَﺬَﺍﺏِ ﺍﻟﻨَّﺎﺭِ ۗ ﻭَﺑِﺌْﺲَ
ﺍﻟْﻤَﺼِﻴْﺮُ
wa iż qāla ibrāhīmu rabbij'al hāżā baladan
āminaw warzuq ahlahụ minaṡ-ṡamarāti man
āmana min-hum billāhi wal-yaumil-ākhir,
qāla wa mang kafara fa umatti'uhụ qalīlan
ṡumma aḍṭarruhū ilā 'ażābin-nār, wa bi`sal-
maṣīr
And (remember) when Ibrahim prayed, "My Lord,
make (the land of Mecca) a secure land and
provide for its people in the form of fruits, namely
among those who believe in Allah and the Last
Day," He (Allah) said, "And to those who disbelieve
I will give temporary pleasure, then I will force him
into the torment of hell and that is the worst place
to return."
127
ﻭَﺍِﺫْ ﻳَﺮْﻓَﻊُ ﺍِﺑْﺮٰﻫٖﻢُ ﺍﻟْﻘَﻮَﺍﻋِﺪَ ﻣِﻦَ ﺍﻟْﺒَﻴْﺖِ
ﻭَﺍِﺳْﻤٰﻌِﻴْﻞُۗ ﺭَﺑَّﻨَﺎ ﺗَﻘَﺒَّﻞْ ﻣِﻨَّﺎ ۗ ﺍِﻧَّﻚَ ﺍَﻧْﺖَ ﺍﻟﺴَّﻤِﻴْﻊُ
ﺍﻟْﻌَﻠِﻴْﻢُ
wa iż yarfa'u ibrāhīmul-qawā'ida minal-baiti
wa ismā'īl, rabbanā taqabbal minnā, innaka
antas-samī'ul-'alīm
And (remember) when Ibrahim raised the
foundation of the House with Ishmael, (while
praying), "Our Lord, accept (charity) from us.
Indeed, You are the All -Hearing, the All -Knowing.
128
ﺭَﺑَّﻨَﺎ ﻭَﺍﺟْﻌَﻠْﻨَﺎ ﻣُﺴْﻠِﻤَﻴْﻦِ ﻟَﻚَ ﻭَﻣِﻦْ ﺫُﺭِّﻳَّﺘِﻨَﺎٓ ﺍُﻣَّﺔً
ﻣُّﺴْﻠِﻤَﺔً ﻟَّﻚَۖ ﻭَﺍَﺭِﻧَﺎ ﻣَﻨَﺎﺳِﻜَﻨَﺎ ﻭَﺗُﺐْ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻨَﺎ ۚ ﺍِﻧَّﻚَ
ﺍَﻧْﺖَ ﺍﻟﺘَّﻮَّﺍﺏُ ﺍﻟﺮَّﺣِﻴْﻢُ
rabbanā waj'alnā muslimaini laka wa min
żurriyyatinā ummatam muslimatal laka wa
arinā manāsikanā wa tub 'alainā, innaka
antat-tawwābur-raḥīm
Our Lord, make us submissive to You, and our
descendants (also) people who surrender to You
and show us the ways of performing our worship
(pilgrimage), and accept our repentance. Indeed,
You are the Most Acceptor of repentance, the Most
Merciful.
129
ﺭَﺑَّﻨَﺎ ﻭَﺍﺑْﻌَﺚْ ﻓِﻴْﻬِﻢْ ﺭَﺳُﻮْﻟًﺎ ﻣِّﻨْﻬُﻢْ ﻳَﺘْﻠُﻮْﺍ
ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻬِﻢْ ﺍٰﻳٰﺘِﻚَ ﻭَﻳُﻌَﻠِّﻤُﻬُﻢُ ﺍﻟْﻜِﺘٰﺐَ ﻭَﺍﻟْﺤِﻜْﻤَﺔَ
ﻭَﻳُﺰَﻛِّﻴْﻬِﻢْ ۗ ﺍِﻧَّﻚَ ﺍَﻧْﺖَ ﺍﻟْﻌَﺰِﻳْﺰُ ﺍﻟْﺤَﻜِﻴْﻢُ
rabbanā wab'aṡ fīhim rasụlam min-hum yatlụ
'alaihim āyātika wa yu'allimuhumul-kitāba
wal-ḥikmata wa yuzakkīhim, innaka
antal-'azīzul-ḥakīm
Our Lord, send among them a messenger from
among themselves, who will recite to them Your
verses and teach them the Book and Wisdom, and
purify them. Truly, You are the Mighty, the Wise. ”
130
ﻭَﻣَﻦْ ﻳَّﺮْﻏَﺐُ ﻋَﻦْ ﻣِّﻠَّﺔِ ﺍِﺑْﺮٰﻫٖﻢَ ﺍِﻟَّﺎ ﻣَﻦْ ﺳَﻔِﻪَ
ﻧَﻔْﺴَﻪٗ ۗﻭَﻟَﻘَﺪِ ﺍﺻْﻄَﻔَﻴْﻨٰﻪُ ﻓِﻰ ﺍﻟﺪُّﻧْﻴَﺎ ۚﻭَﺍِﻧَّﻪٗ ﻓِﻰ
ﺍﻟْﺎٰﺧِﺮَﺓِ ﻟَﻤِﻦَ ﺍﻟﺼّٰﻠِﺤِﻴْﻦَ
wa may yargabu 'am millati ibrāhīma illā man
safiha nafsah, wa laqadiṣṭafaināhu fid-dun-yā,
wa innahụ fil-ākhirati laminaṣ-ṣāliḥīn
And those who hate the religion of Ibrahim, are
only fools themselves. And verily, We chose him
(Ibrahim) in the world. And verily in the Hereafter
he will be of the righteous.
